Community Rules

Play With Keyboard is a friendly place for people of all ages, including children and families. These rules are part of our Terms of Use. They apply to usernames, recordings, duel names, song requests, reports and anything else you create or share.

1. Be kind

  • No insults, bullying, harassment, threats or hate against anyone, including because of origin, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or age.
  • Duels are friendly competition. Winning and losing graciously is part of the game.

2. Keep it family-friendly

  • No sexual, violent, shocking, drug-related or otherwise inappropriate names or content.
  • No content that could harm children. Do not ask anyone for photos, addresses, phone numbers or to move to another app. Adults must not seek private contact with minors.

3. Respect music rights

  • Do not record, title or share copyrighted songs, lyrics or arrangements unless you have permission. Our song library contains public-domain songs for exactly this reason.
  • Do not request copyrighted songs; we can only add public-domain music.
  • You are responsible for what you play and share. See our Copyright & Takedown Policy.

4. Protect privacy

  • Do not share your own or anyone else's personal data (full name of a child, address, phone, school, email) in usernames, duel names or messages.
  • Do not impersonate other people, artists, brands or our team.

5. Play fair

  • No bots, scripts, macros, auto-players, modified clients, manipulated timing or note data.
  • No multiple accounts to boost scores, no score swapping, no exploiting bugs — report bugs to info@playwithkeyboard.com instead.
  • Our servers re-check every score. Results that look automated or impossible are removed.

6. No spam, no misuse

  • No advertising, links to unrelated sites, chain messages or mass invitations.
  • No attempts to hack, overload, scrape or bypass security of the Service.
  • No false reports or false copyright notices.

7. What happens if rules are broken

Depending on how serious and how frequent the breach is, we may:

  1. remove the content or reset a score or username;
  2. warn you;
  3. limit features (for example sharing, duels or competitions) for a period;
  4. suspend your account temporarily;
  5. ban you permanently — immediately in serious cases (threats, content endangering children, deliberate cheating rings, illegal content). Banned users may not open new accounts.

We tell you what we did and why, unless the law or safety prevents it. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message or write to info@playwithkeyboard.com; someone who was not involved in the first decision will review it.

Illegal content, especially anything that endangers children, may be reported to the authorities.

8. Report a problem

Use the "Report" button or email info@playwithkeyboard.com. Tell us the link and what is wrong. Thank you for helping keep Play With Keyboard friendly!
