Luigi Boccherini (1743–1805) was a composer and cellist from Lucca who spent most of his life in Madrid. Melody you can play here: Minuet (Boccherini).
His famous Minuet comes from the String Quintet in E major, Op. 11 No. 5 (1771). He wrote more than 100 string quintets and was one of the finest cellists of his time.
