Muzio Clementi (1752–1832) was a composer and pianist born in Rome who spent most of his life in England. Melody you can play here: Sonatina in C major, Op. 36 No. 1.
His sonatinas, such as Op. 36 No. 1 (1797), are among the first classical pieces many piano students learn. He also ran a piano-making and music-publishing business in London.
